Jayne Enerson, Artist-Owner, Earth Circles Jayne is inspired by her love of the outdoors and by her hiking, biking, rafting and other trips to National Parks, Native American historic sites, and the natural lands of the Northern and Western United States. She is also influenced by trips to Australia and Central America. She counts Mesa Verde, Chaco Canyon, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon, the North Woods of Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and the shores of the Great Lakes among the places which have had the most powerful influence on her and her work.

Jayne was born in Minnesota and graduated from Winona State University. This was followed by post-graduate classes in Minnesota, California, Wisconsin and Colorado and 15 years of experience teaching Kindergarten through sixth grades, special education, and adult basic education.

While teaching in a small town in northern Wisconsin, she began to develop a love for Colorado through visits to her younger sister in Steamboat Springs, eventually resolving to move to Colorado, attracted by the many days of warmth and sunshine, as well as a newfound love of rock climbing. Originally intending to continue her teaching career, a growing interest in artistic expressions led to the founding of Earth Circles in 1989. Now in business for many years, she brings strong experience and a powerful creative energy to the continued development of Earth Circles and has built a strong base of customers due to her focus on quality products, ongoing innovation, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
